Powerful Julian Savea!

Julian Savea is an impressive rugby player as can be seen in this video by Rugby Zone.

He was born in New Zealand in 1990 and plays for the All Blacks as Wing which is his position of choice. In the Super Rugby competition he plays for the Hurricanes and he plays for the Wellington Lions on club level. He earned the nick-name of Bus while playing in the under-20 levels of the game where he played for New Zealand. He has also represented his country in the Sevens version of the game.

During 2015 Rugby World Cup he gained prominence as a key member of the squad by helping his team to World Cup victory with 8 tries (top scorer for the tournament). In this video you can see some of his speed and raw strength in action, both in offence and defense. If he can’t run past his opponent he will just run over him! If you don’t tackle him around the ankles he is just going to bump you off without even slowing down.

I must say, the more a look at the video the more impressed I am. It is surprising that a man with his obvious talents were dropped from the 2017 Rugby Championship squad.
